WHO ARE WE | Biology of Observation and Discovery
National Museum of Nature and Science Archive Collection | Vol. 01 Mammals
Exhibition/Space
This is a traveling exhibition of mounted animals, mainly mammals, carefully selected from a collection of approximately 4.8 million taxidermic specimens. Opening the display drawers lets us take in animals we never knew about, presents us with mysteries, and asks us questions. What are mammals? Who are we? This exhibition aims to make us confront the Earth and ourselves through taxidermy.
