This is the exhibition catalog for the “REVALUE NIPPON PROJECT: Hidetoshi Nakata’s Favorite Japanese Kogei” exhibition. The project goal of the project is to challenge artists to create a new “beauty of Japan” in order to rediscover the value of kogei (handicrafts). The catalog makes use of this intention to express the appeal of Japanese kogei from a new perspective that transcends tradition and formalities.
