Joshibi University of Art and Design and Joshibi Junior College of Art and Design is Japan's oldest private art university, and the only art university dedicated to women in Japan.

To more authentically communicate Joshibi's distinctive characteristics — its vast alumni base of women artists, designers, and creators — we planned and developed a comprehensive website unlike those of other universities.

To reflect this “Joshibi” quality on the site, we engaged in a year-long process of log analysis and direct engagement with students on campus to develop the concept. Considering how prospective students might envision their future selves, we created a site that conveys Joshibi’s atmosphere and the diverse profiles of its students in the “now,” through both design and content.
