TOKYO FIBER '07 SENSEWARE
We put together the SENSEWARE exhibition from the point of view of visualizing the invisible potential of manmade fibers that have matured into materials that form our environment. Not just creators, but also those involved in industry and research took part in the planning stage of this project. There are two versions of the catalog, a paperback version used at the Paris show and a hardcover version, sold in Japan and English-speaking regions. Presently, the hard cover version, with Japanese and English side by side, is available for purchase. There is a sample of an ultra modern textile attached to the cover of the hardback version, which can be glimpsed through a translucent section of the dust jacket. In 2011, a volume combining the 2007 and 2009 versions will be available in simplified Chinese characters.
