The sequel to Chamber of Curiosities, this book was published simultaneously with Biosphere of Birds. The plan to photograph stoneware as objects came out of our first association with the Tokyo University Museum. We had already decided to enclose the books in acrylic cases, but thought it would be best to deliberately change proportions, stone being short and squat and bird, thin and elegant.
