Umeda Hospital

Signage

Based on the idea that “the best service a hospital can provide is to be clean”, we created signage for Umeda Hospital that can be washed in the same way as sheets or nurse uniforms. First produced in 1998, the cloth parts are now being renovated while the framework remains the same. The monumental sign for directing traffic in the new outpatient wing is also washable and is installed and removed by means of a zipper.
