NDC produced this poster to serve as emblem art for the official shop of the Tokyo National Museum.
It shows the clay figure known as the “Jomon Venus” riding on the back of an elephant from the museum’s Fugen Bosatsu (Samantabhadra). This humorous emblem art is featured on postcards, T-shirts, book covers, tote bags, and other museum goods.
