The DFA Awards, established by the Hong Kong Design Centre, is an international award recognizing designs and projects that have influenced Asia, as well as designers who have contributed to the design field.
There are three selection categories: DFA WOCD (Outstanding Chinese Designer of the Year), DFA DLA (Design Leadership Award), and DFA LAA (Lifetime Achievement Award), with one designer selected annually for each.
Kenya Hara was chosen as the recipient of the 2023 "DFA Lifetime Achievement Award" in recognition of his lifelong contributions to the design industry, education, and society.
