Nikon Poster

Capturing Hearts Through Circles and Waves

This image advertisement for NIKKOR lenses by Nippon Kogaku was created just as the company was gaining international recognition for its excellence in America. It represents one of NDC's earliest works, produced in 1960 during the dawn of Japan's rapid economic growth period.

Starting with the legendary Nikon F camera, Nippon Kogaku “Nikon” continued to elevate its reputation worldwide. We established the brand's image by focusing exclusively on the products themselves, expressing their essence through various creative approaches.

This poster features no camera at all. Instead, it presents a simple yet dynamic composition of circles and wave lines against a black background. The design, employing minimal visual elements arranged with mathematical precision, evokes the concept of zoom functionality while captivating the viewer’s imagination.
