ITOKI DESIGN HOUSE

The Ever-evolving Landscape of Work.

For Itoki, one of Japan’s leading office manufacturers, we created the signage system, naming, and spatial videos for their showroom and office “ITOKI DESIGN HOUSE.”

Reflecting the space's nature as an “experimental field” for exploring office possibilities, we developed a flexible signage system. We implemented a “rail + text component” system throughout all floors, allowing for easy adaptation to layout and purpose changes.

We distinguished each floor through unique materials: the 13th floor features rust-red finishes and hexagonal bolts, the 12th floor incorporates textured copper elements, and the 11th floor uses light as its primary design material—giving each level its own distinct identity.

Visual Identity

ITOKI DESIGN HOUSE 2024

We developed a name that embodies the company philosophy “Designing Tomorrow’s Work.” At the reception, we installed a playful object that makes the logo appear as if it is sitting on a bench.

Signage

11F 2024

Within this space of subdued tones featuring brown mesh materials and brick, we adopted “light” as a key material, creating a lightweight and continuous signage system.

13F 2023

Using rust red as the space’s accent color and hexagonal bolts as key materials, we created a crafted, human-like texture. The common rail and letter parts system flexibly adapts to changing spatial needs.

12F 2022

We incorporated copper material for signage, which retains handprints and changes color through oxidation over time. This adds warm accents to the clean space, while the versatile sign stands that can be positioned upright or flat, along with A4 floor maps, enable flexible operation.
