ISETAN DOOR
A New Door on Living

As a long-established department store with origins in kimono shops, Mitsukoshi Isetan Holdings continues to lead the industry. “ISETAN DOOR” is an e-commerce subscription delivery service launched by Mitsukoshi Isetan.
To complement this new initiative of delivering Isetan-selected ingredients and food products—from eggs and milk to gourmet items recommended by buyers—directly to customers’ homes, we created the naming, statement, logo, and delivery boxes that embody both the excitement of a department store and a welcoming familiarity that fits seamlessly into everyday life.
We conceptualized the service as a door connecting everyday life with Isetan, hence naming it “ISETAN DOOR.” In the logo, we designed the “OO” in “DOOR” to represent the discerning eyes of the department store buyers. For the delivery boxes, we arranged variations of these “eyes” expressions, adding a subtle playfulness to the design.
