GQ Japan
Redefining the Modern Gentleman

GQ JAPAN is a men’s fashion and culture magazine published by Condé Nast Japan. We provided comprehensive design supervision for the magazine, social media, and project logos, implementing a complete design renewal of the magazine starting September 2023.
We established a strategy to redefine and localize the US edition of GQ for the Japanese market, creating a distinctive identity for the Japanese edition. With the concept “TOKYO NEW GENTLEMEN,” we were tasked with generating new value as a media brand.
We supervised every design-related process from research to typeface selection, grid design, and paper choice. By building a consistent design system across both the print magazine and social media, we created an integrated brand experience.
