Ginza Sony Park
Play with Space. Play with Content.

“Sony Park Exhibition,” held to mark the temporary closure of Ginza Sony Park, connected six displays themed around Sony Group's core businesses. After its Ginza run, the exhibition moved to a former newspaper factory site in Kyoto.
We created visuals that maximized both Ginza Sony Park’s street culture identity and the distinct appeal of the six exhibition programs. We developed a graphic system combining six fluorescent colors with the exhibition logo and numerals.
In Ginza, numbers rolled like coins across the park’s undulating terrain, while in Kyoto, bus stops and caution tape stood out dramatically against the factory setting. Each location featured playful spaces that fully embraced their unique characteristics.
Signage
2021
Based on the Ginza Sony Park logo, we designed an exhibition logo that incorporated colorful numbers ① through ⑥, representing six exhibitions that rotated every two weeks. We created a playful design characteristic of Ginza Sony Park with a consistent color scheme throughout the venue walls and graphics.

2022
We created bus stop-like signage based on circled numbers, using colorful numerals ① through ⑥ to represent the six exhibitions comprising the program. Placed throughout the expansive exhibition venue's zones, these signs were designed to add color to the former Kyoto Newspaper factory space while serving as landmarks to guide visitors.
