The Crown, Japan’s icon of luxury cars, has been boldly reinvented. Designed for today’s drivers, it moves from traditional sedan to elevated body style. Toyota’s thoughtful design shows in every detail, from its impressive presence to its comfortable interior, creating a space for quality time.
As the Crown shifts luxury car values, we wanted to show its new world through photography. We started by rethinking everything - from how we shoot to where we shoot, challenging every standard approach.
We focused on five key elements: bold framing, play of light and shadow, stylish everyday scenes, touchable textures, and fresh locations never before seen in car photography. Each photo carefully captures the energy of the new Crown.
Editing
The catalog was sold as a limited-edition photo book. The imagery expanded across multiple platforms, appearing in posters, postcards, and television commercial stills.
