POWER LOUNGE

The POWER LOUNGE premium lounge was reborn in 2017 in two locations at Haneda Airport: Domestic Terminals 1 and 2. Nippon Design Center and the Hara Design Institute collaborated with Takram to develop a concept of the new lounge, and to handle naming, VI, and space direction.

Empowerment Branding

The concept for the lounge is empowerment. In-depth research through interviews with airport users is reflected in space design that includes a 2-m-x-7-m table made of hinoki wood, allowing travelers to spread out documents and get work done, power outlets for each seat, a drink bar with health-conducive choices, and open layout of the space with gradual transitions between zones suitable for different usages.
