Everyday Life - Signs of Awareness

Everyday Life - Signs of Awareness at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa celebrated the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Denmark. Japanese and Danish designers, architects, and artists participated in the exhibition. Kenya Hara curated the "HOME" and "MUJI" sections and Hara Design Institute handled the design of the main visuals and captions.

HOME / MUJI Exhibition

The "HOME" section was a collaboration with Danish designer, Cecilie Manz, mixing Danish and Japanese products together to create an interior evoking the context of modern life. The "MUJI" section displayed oversize versions of MUJI tag labels for products with a wide variety of shapes and sizes, from teaspoons to futons and floorcoverings.
