Dandelion Wine was designed as a communication tool for the town of Mukawa on Japan's northernmost large island (Hokkaido), famed for its dandelion fields, the largest in Japan. The plan was for the etched flower on the label of this pretty little bottle to gain another seed each year. Since a merger of towns and villages, Mukawa has ceased development activities. We hope that the seeds they've sown will help them grow into a hardy community.
