The "Re-Design" Exhibition that originated in the Takeo Paper Show 2002 has been traveling around the world. Since the project was awarded the Grand Prix at the 17th Biennial of Industrial Design, we were offered first an opportunity hold it at the Light House in Glasgow, Scotland, then in Copenhagen, Denmark, in Toronto, Canada, and in cities in China from Hong Kong to Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing.
In any case, normally our traveling exhibition first draws attention through the regional media as a project proposing the design anew of commonplace commodities. But as soon as the essence of our concept becomes clear, it seems to have a huge impact on the media as well as viewers, which attracts more visitors. Many junior high schools and high schools have used the project as a design workshop manual. And there have been not a few cases in which we have had to postpone the closing day of the exhibition.
