The MUJI theme for 2004 is "House". A gathering of MUJIユs products selected from among their 5,000 items will materialize as a particular form of "shelter". MUJIユs products will develop into the provision of "shelter" through a primary operation, examining the materials used for floors, walls and ceilings, or furnishing all the items essential to a kitchen and bathroom in addition to rational editing of the diverse necessary items for food, clothing and shelter.
The photo for the posters and newspapers was shot on location in Africa: the image of a very simple "house"; an integration of human life with the climate. The magazine ad also supports a MUJI "living space" proposal, featuring practical examples of products. In addition, we've used various advertising media for our campaign on complete house projects such as "Renovation" and "Wooden House".
