In Niigata Prefecture's Iwafune, farmers grow high-quality rice that ranks alongside that of Minami-uonuma in the same prefecture. The client launched a free gift campaign in a certain magazine to introduce the Iwafune name and to access people who wanted to buy safe, high-quality rice, even if it were slightly more expensive than ordinary rice. This is the limited edition packaging I designed for that occasion. However, Hara Design Institute would like to go further in this theme; this design for rice packaging is only the beginning. We would like to go into the cultivation of the market and distribution systems as well.
